     Avoid the restaurant fried chips. They contain 25 calories per chip.

Order baked chips, which are 10 calories a piece or corn tortillas to dip in your salsa.

Healthy Entrees:

         Tacos al carbon but, watch out for the high calorie accompaniments – refried beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream and cheese.

If you choose corn tortillas over flour you will save 50 calories each.

         Arroz con pollo.

         Chicken fajita salad and use salsa for your dressing!

             Limit or hold the sour cream and guacamole.

Limit high calorie entrees – chalupas, chimichangas,  beef or cheese enchiladas,  flautas, tacos, tamales.

The bottom line is to choose the food you really enjoy and skip the things that are not so special: you don’t need chips, rice, beans AND tortillas.
